For a time, there was a shortage of the the Air Jordan IV as Nike didn't anticipate the demand for the MJ Kicks.In 1989, Michael Jordan continued to receive numerous awards and trophies – and was fast becoming the favorite player in the world. His Airness has never failed to wow his fans worldwide, with his enigmatic presence in the court. Once again, Tinker Hatfield is behind the design of the Air Jordan IV (4) Series. Although there weren’t any new revolutionary designs or innovations, the AJ 4 was being sold like pancakes. Nike then took the product into the world market. Much to their amazement, all the AJ sneakers were sold out within a few weeks of its release. Spike Lee continued working on the promotions for Nike, and came out with the Can/Can’t commercial for Michael Jordan.
