Nike Dunk SB - Nike Skateboarding Shoes for Women

Introduced in 1985 by Nike, the Dunks kicks are considered the fraternal twin of the “Nike Terminator.” Dunks Nikes was used for the campaign of Nike called the “College Colors” program wherein each colored pair of shoes match the jersey of their college team. In 1998, the Nike Dunks shoes returned. New colors were introduced and feature a nylon tongue and arch supports. It was successful and demand was great. After a while, Skateboard enthusiasts started to notice the Nike Dunks and so Nike spread to the Skateboard Industry and introduced the Nike SB Dunks sneakers. Same look was given but several performance changes were made. They had good cushioning system, Zoom Air insoles, extra padding around the ankle/tongue and the double and triple stitching that is standard in the skateboarding shoe industry. The Women’s Nike Dunk has a flexible rubber outsole for durability and a low profile cut for board control. I also have leather, suede upper and an optional internal lacing system. For breathability, it has an open cell mesh tongue and vamp perforations.
